多模态教学对体育英语词汇习得的影响研究

摘要:随着国际体育运动的蓬勃发展,各类体育赛事日益增多这推动了体育英语教学的发展与应用。然而,学习方法和语言环境仍是制约学生词汇习得的主要因素,这些因素在很大程度上对体育专业学生的词汇积累产生了负面影响。英语学习者往往难以在特定语境中准确理解词汇含义。因此,教师需要采用更有效的教学方法来提升教学效率,促进词汇习得。本研究将60名大学生根据英语水平平均分为控制组(CG)和实验组(EG)。控制组采用单模态教材,实验组则采用多模态教学法。经过两周实验后,所有四个组别立即进行测试。一周后,再分别进行了延迟后测。t检验结果显示,实验组在两次后测中的平均得分均高于控制组,不同水平的学生表现出不同的学习效果。研究结果表明,从ESP教学视角来看,多模态教学对体育英语词汇习得具有促进作用。
